What is Crystal Scrying

Crystal gazing, scrying or crystallomancy is the art of inducing the appearance of pictures or images in the depths of a globe of transparent material for the purpose of divining hidden or future matters. It is also called as gastromancy and spheromancy. Crystal ball was first made from beryl, but then it was replaced by other more transparent crystals such as quartz.

Crystal gazing may be used by practitioners - sometimes called "seers" or "readers" - for a variety of purposes, including to give character analyses, to predict distant or future events, to help clients make choices about their problems or to tell fortunes. Beside crystal balls, crystal gazing can also be done with a convex mirror, a crystalline gemstone or any shiny object but in common place, a clear transparent crystal ball is most often used.

Some gazers use a small crystal ball called "palm ball" with a few inches in diameter that is held in their hand while others prefer a larger crystal ball mounted on a wooden or metal stand. Many gazers will choose a clear quartz for their crystal ball although they are incredibly expensive. If made of glass, then it should be free from air bubbles.

Crystal Ball Gazing Guide

The purpose of the crystal ball is to help them go into their psychic trance. Many psychics suggest that crystal gazing should be done in a dimly-lit and quiet room, this helps to avoid distracting reflections in the crystal. Before using the crystal ball, try to have in your mind a question or task that you want to accomplish. The next step is to look into the crystal for 10 to 15 minutes. You will likely see that the ball is moving in and out of focus during this process.

Other effects will happen if you keep concentrating such as the appearance of clouds, a kind of fog covering the crystal or flickering images. This is the beginning of the psychic abilities showing themselves. This cloud may break at times revealing tantalising glimpses of faces, landscapes, people or objects. If you practice more often, it will help the images to become very life like and from here you can try to guess or understand what are those images trying to tell. You may see images/pictures that make no sense with your question in mind, this is because you need to know the deeper meaning of those symbols, a dream dictionary might helpful for you in this case.

More advanced practice can actually opening up a channel between the spirit world and yourself with the crystal ball acting as a mirror of that other world. The crystal ball will tap into your psychic centres which all of us have these as spiritual beings. What we will see in the crystal is our own psychic side manifesting itself through images to help us understand more about ourself and the future our higherself has planned for us. Nobody is incapable of developing psychic sight, all you need to do is just practice and be patient.

Feng shui crystals are used to obtain specific vibrations or energies that bring peace, balance and harmony. Feng shui lucky crystals should be placed in the correct position and area of your home.
